I was sad to see it end. I learned so much from the other photographers. Saturday was my first opportunity to shoot from the pit. I just needed to be about 1 to 2 feet taller! I noticed some people brought step stools with'em. Even Nagadoches at 6' 3" had his egg crate to stand on. I did manage to get some good shots as well as get sprayed with a fair amount of dirt. The free beer and bourbon at the Barrell was cool. Happy to report that Sparks passed his Codes cert after our studying in that little grey bricked room between bull riding rounds. I hope they let me do this again next year!
